The QUEST College Ministry & Young Adults Ministry hosted two events in one weekend: Young Adults Live (our worship gathering) on Friday night and THE SIDEWALK (Coffeehouse and Open Mic) on Saturday night. Over 300 young adults from the Tri-State area descending upon Christ Church East Campus for nights of worship, celebration and fun!
Young Adults Live featured the QUEST/YAM Worship Team and a message on the "Benefits of Community" by our very own Lionel King (QUEST/YAM Outreach Events Leader). The night culminated with altar ministry and great food/fellowship. Young Adults Live serves as our worship gathering for young adults at Christ Church.
The Sidewalk featured live music by Fresh Fire and DJ Xplosion, guest artist Ash, guest co-host Keisha (who presently has a CD: HE IS GOD at http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/Keisha) and open mic! The event also featured the QUEST/YAM Worship Team and book offerings by Christ Church Youth Director and BattleCry Speaker Jack Redmond.
A special announcement at this SIDEWALK was made that the next SIDEWALK will be hosted at the West Campus on Saturday, June 19, 2010! We are excited about this expansion to the West Campus and what God is about to do through and in this event!
