WOW!
THE SIDEWALK (Young Adults Coffeehouse and Open Mic) was held this past Saturday night at Christ Church East in Montclair, New Jersey. The night began with worship with the songs Say So and Never Going Back, lead by Ryan Faison and Tamar Montuma respectively. Lionel King, the host for the night, kicked things off with the SIDEWALK theme, played by Fresh Fire. The open mic features once again demonstrated the gifts and talents in our generation! After a great time of fellowship and eating, THE SIDEWALK guests were treated with our special feature, Leah Smith. Leah was amazing! Her unique style and presentation resonated with the young adults in attendance.
The QUEST/YAM team were thankful for the contributions of Wodline and Greenlensky Charles for our special team passes and added decor and Marjorie Datuin for her photography! Her creative eye captured special moments from THE SIDEWALK we will not forget! We are excited to host a series of events: Young Adults Live (Friday, May 20th - EAST CAMPUS); Go-Kart Racing (Saturday, May 28 - Velocity-17 in Maywood, NJ); THE SIDEWALK (Saturday, June 18th - WEST CAMPUS) and our first GRADUATION CELEBRATION (Saturday, June 25th).

ReplyDeleteAt the last minute, a friend of mine finally accepted my invite to come check out this event. And of course, she LOVED it!... I've been praying for weeks about her and I'm so happy that she got a chance to experience what I've been telling her all along... Join me in prayer as I know she is one of many whom God is calling back home.
