REVIEW: "Keeping God Real in College" Second Session

In the second session, "STAND UP AND BE COUNTED", we discussed the purpose and plans of God according to Jeremiah 29:11, even as it relates to college students making life decisions and choices. We also discussed how to develop a Christian mind, drawing from passages in the book of Proverbs for biblical clarity. As a result, the group session opened up on the topic of renewing our minds in Christ. After watching an introduction of the "OUTSIDER INTERVIEWS", it was striking to hear their views on Christianity and those who purported to represent the faith.

The remaining part of the session, we addressed how to converse with non-Christian friends about Christ, our relationship with Him and inviting them to join us on the journey for themselves. Helpful tips, experiences and key points were shared as we learn to care and serve others as Christ would rather than forcing a dogmatic ideology that may lead to utter rejection.

The next and last session of "Keeping God Real in College" will take place on Wednesday, August 25th (East Campus) and Thursday, August 26th (West Campus) as we discuss PMS - Power, Money and Sex. There will be an open panel discussion and candid conversation. Join us at 7 PM after praise and worship in the main sanctuary at both campuses. We would love to see you there!
