Prayer and fasting are disciplines of a disciple of Christ. These disciplines humble us (Psalm 35:13) and helps us to become even more sensitive to the promptings and voice of God. As the QUEST College Ministry and Young Adults Ministry of Christ Church prepares for the upcoming SIDEWALK event, one of our prayer leaders (Julian Denis) recommended that we pray and fast the day before the event beyond the leadership team. For those interested in partnering with us, we will be fasting tomorrow, Friday, February 18, 2011 and eating one meal. During our fasting times, we are praying that God will use this event for transformation, restoration and activation of faith for every young adult.
